Welcome and thank you for visiting my website. It is my great privilege to serve as State Representative for District 3. In that capacity I work every day to ensure that the citizens of Northeast Texas have their voice heard in our capitol. I try to view every issue that comes before the legislature from our regional perspective considering the impact on our economy, our values and our future. I measure every vote according to its impact on the promises that we - together - make to build a greater Texas:

The promise to our children to provide them a superior education and to equip them with the skills that they need to compete and succeed in an ever changing economy.

The promise to our teachers to give them a reasonable economic reward for their efforts and to provide them with the necessary tools to help make Texas an academic leader in our country.

The promise to our taxpayers to reduce property taxes, create a more equitable revenue strategy and give them a maximum return for their dollars.

The promise to our employers to maintain an open economic environment where businesses, large and small, can thrive.

The promise to our working families to do all in our power to encourage the creation of more jobs with better pay and to help them gain the skills needed to fill those jobs.

The promise to all our citizens to create a real opportunity of a brighter, stronger, more secure future for themselves and their families.
